The sideboard is sturdy and usable. The veneer is attractive despite a few minor losses. There are also a few areas of repair. Scattered scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. There are three keys present; some of the lock mechanisms are in working order but others do not function. The drawer construction appears original; the hardware are likely later replacements. This was purchased from a Western United States home by a trade consignor; its provenance prior to that is unknown. Condition reports are available upon request. All lots are sold “as is,” in the condition they are in at the time of the auction. The physical condition of lots can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration.
